What Is TMI Month?

I will be posting Character’s Biography from the Shadowhunter Chronicles this November. You will read character sketches of the main characters from the Mortal Instruments. Note: There are spoilers.

IMOGEN HERONDALE:

Imogen Herondale also known as Inquisitor Herondale was known for her firm attitude. Her spouse was Marcus Herondale. She then had a son named Stephen, who later joined the Circle even though Imogen disapproved. When Stephen died during the Uprising because of Valentine and later when Marcus also died, Imogen was devastated loosing her family.

After that Imogen became hardened and cold when she was accepted as an Inquisitor. She hated Valentine and when she knew he had a son, she kept him captivated. Imogen never got to know that Jace was never Valentine’s son but he was Imogen’s grandson. When she saw the Herondale birth mark on Jace, she saved him from the demon who was attacking him.

HODGE STARKWEATHER:

Hodge Starkweather was a very knowledgeable person yet evil. He was a former Circle member and was Valentine’s ardent follower. But, during the Uprising when the Circle broke, Hodge was brought back to the Institute as a tutor for shadowhunters.

He was cursed by the Clave that he would not leave the Institute and join Valentine’s army. So, he increased his interest in plants and animals, and he became a skilled herbalist. He was fed up of being stuck in the Institute for years because he could not live his own life, so he also researched about how to break the curse on his own.

He later betrayed all the people in the Institute and was caught by the Gard. Later he was killed by Sebastian.

CHURCH:

Church is an intelligent, immortal cat who was rescued by a Shadowhunter (James Carstairs) in 1878. He is usually a grouch, unless being petted, and usually does not let anyone carry him without some struggle.

Church guides the shadowhunters in the institute and takes them to the person they want to meet. He is such a lazy cat if Isabelle used to cook, he used to take the person to the kitchen so that he could eat.

MARYSE LIGHTWOOD:

Maryse Lightwood also known as Maryse Lightwood (née Trueblood) is known for being the best leader and handling young shadowhunters under her. She is married to Robert Lightwood. She has three children that is Alec, Isabelle and Max and an adoptive son Jace Herondale.

Maryse was a part of the Circle and she never knew the plan of Valentine. In her teens, she was a badass shadowhunter and now Isabelle who is just her carbon copy, is carrying the name.

Maryse has always abided the laws of The Clave. The Lightwood family has a good image in front of The Clave.

MAX LIGHTWOOD:

Max Lightwood also known as Maxwell Joseph Lightwood is known for his cuteness and humbleness. For a shadowhunter he is such a precious baby. He was a 9 year old shadowhunter born to Maryse and Robert Lightwood. His siblings are Alec, Isabelle and Jace. Max is the youngest in the whole Lightwood family.

Clary taught Max how to read Manga and he read a lot. Unfortunately, when the demons had attacked Alicante (Idris), Max was killed by Sebastian in the City of Glass book.
